I'm back

This is an update for the people (I doubt there are many) who noticed/cared that I have been gone for over a month. I know that dear, sweet did, because she recently whacked me over the head about continuing the Portraits.

*sigh* The issue is... Well, in past journals I have talked about how my computer is preparing to go belly-up. One day, no matter how hard I tried, Internet Explorer wouldn't open [yes I use IE for all you Firefox fans]. My dad ran a scan and realized that this old clunker of a machine was riddled with Trojans.

Twenty of them.

And, well, since I spend about 90% of my free time sitting in front of this computer, my dad decided that all the viruses were my fault.

*cough* ... -_-

Then he came to the conclusion that the viruses came from (get this) DeviantART!

Blasphemy!

Anyway, there followed a long period in which DeviantART was (gasp) blocked!! from my computer. Now, however, it is up again, because Dad decided that the Trojans were the fault of Farmville, not DeviantART.

Go figure.

Anyway, that was a super long explanation for why I haven't been posting Portraits or responding to people's favs and comments. Hopefully the computer will last a little longer until I purchase my laptop (and a kick-ass anti-virus program. You know, just in case).

And, when I did log on, there were nearly 300 deviations for me to sort through. That is why I have spammed some people with favorites. My apologies.
